  • Contact form submissions — name, email, and message content when you reach out for support.
  • Authentication data — if you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (name, email) as permitted by your Google account settings.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, approximate location (country/region), browser type, device type, and referring URLs.
  • Log data — IP address, timestamps, and error logs for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our resume builder, ATS checker, and related services.
  • Authenticate your account and securely store your resume data.
  • Generate ATS scores and AI-powered writing suggestions when you request them.
  • Display your public resume at your chosen vanity URL when you enable that option.
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related communications.
  • Monitor usage trends, diagnose technical issues, and protect against fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. AI Processing

When you use the ATS Score Checker or AI rewrite features, resume text you submit may be processed by third-party AI services to generate scores and suggestions. Content is used solely to deliver the feature you requested and is not used to train public models on your behalf without consent. Always review AI-generated text for accuracy before submitting applications.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with access restricted to authorized personnel. We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and log out on shared devices.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and resume data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes (e.g., backup logs with limited retention periods).

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information only in these circumstances:

  • With your consent — e.g., when you enable a public vanity URL, anyone with the link can view your resume.
  • Service providers — hosting, email delivery, analytics (Google Analytics), and authentication (Google Sign-In, Firebase) partners who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We do not share resume content with employers or recruiters unless you explicitly share your vanity link or exported PDF.

7. Third-Party Services

Our site integrates with:

  • Google Analytics — aggregated usage statistics. You can opt out via browser add-ons or cookie settings.
  • Google Sign-In / Firebase Authentication — optional login method. Google's privacy policy applies to data they collect.
  • Google Fonts — typography delivery; may involve connection to Google servers.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate account or profile information.

AIResume PK is operated from Pakistan and serves users globally. By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in Pakistan and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
